My name is Lucy Kalantari, also known as Luciar, and lucytoon.
I’ve been playing piano and writing songs since I was 7-years-old, and haven’t stopped. I’ve released a few albums over the years: with a progressive rock band, Distance, we released, Big Chunks of Goodness. As Luciar, I’ve released Rules of the Game; Skin, and Feeling A Little Emo. With my one-man-band Elwood Emission, I released this industrial/electronic album, Ode to the Ego. And my latest, is a 1920s-stylin’, uplifting ukulele ditties children’s album, Pockets Full of Joy.
I live in Brooklyn, am mother to an exploring toddler and a very chill cat; wife to an inventor and exceptional gourmet cook.
